management and project management, and Cisco Systems on information technology.
Office facilities are not the key business driver for most occupiers,
but they do constitute a significant cost for most and best practice can
make businesses more competitive by reducing operating costs, motivating
staff and improving customer perceptions and service. The speakers reviewed
market leading strategies and trends for: office planning and utilisation;
implementation of competitive information technology; outsourcing of facilities
or the facility; obtaining better value from office property; and, management
and organisation of relocation and expansion projects, including indicative
times and costs.
